Baby Opera R&D

We are excited to have started the R+D on our Baby Opera! Working with director Harvey Evans and co librettists Alicia Wiseman and Emi Rose

Integrated British sign language and Deaf accessible music - merging the hearing and Deaf worlds!

As a trilingual production we welcome Welsh speakers and the Deaf community as well. 2 of the cast are BSL preferred users and 2 are bilingual in Welsh and English.

The research and development of this project took place during the first week of January 2026 at The Share Centre in Newport, Wales
